B4 - Our dream house

We'd like to briefly pay tribute to our small but beautiful paradise. B4 is the nickname of our realm, named by our dear painter Franky. After purchasing it, he spent several weeks creatively romping about here. In our free time, we supported him with all our strength and the help of many friends and acquaintances.

In accordance with our wishes and ideas, we only used practical materials to meet our needs.

This beautiful farmhouse is over 100 years old. We want to preserve its natural and original beauty, which is why we will neither plaster nor insulate the brick facade. Back then, construction was done differently and very intelligently. Our facade is double-skinned and has "built-in insulation" through an "insulating" air layer. The roof, a real eye-catcher, has an unusual color – yellow. The shingles were applied in an old, elaborate way, using a double mortared installation – also known as a crown roof.

The new gate, as expected, reflects our nature and love – green. The metal is gold and once again catches our beautiful roof.

We designed the garden in a more practical way, leaving it natural. Our children are allowed to play to their heart's content and even dig holes. We don't want our garden to win any beauty prizes; we just want it to feel good.

The pond is a central haven of peace. Here we all enjoy the gentle lapping and the sun, accompanied by the song of toads and birds.
