Koumehime Go Asou Yamatosou
Little Mitcha, born on October 7, 2019. Our first import from Japan. We were looking for new bloodlines, and where best to look? Of course, in the country of origin! With the help of Nihon Ken legend Shigeru Kato, we were able to import her. Our initial interest was in a black and tan bitch. Shigeru then recommended the litter of his male Vega. His brother Sirius, Mitcha's uncle, (still) lives in Germany. We had already had the opportunity to meet him in person and therefore liked the idea quite a lot and were open to it. Due to the distance, we relied entirely on Shigeru's judgment and recommendations. After many more emails, videos, and pictures, we decided on Miya. We wanted to pick her up in person, but it wasn't possible for me to arrange it at the time. She was flown to Berlin via Moscow. When she arrived, she was more than bright and cheeky. Pack leader Reiko welcomed her with me.

Mitcha will only have one litter for now (see C-litter). We're still undecided about whether we'll use her for breeding again. Currently, juvenile vaginitis in a female dog who was later spayed speaks against it. During the spay, changes to the reproductive organs (cysts, tumors) were discovered. We don't know if there's a connection, but health is our top priority, which is why we're hesitant.
At the end of 2024, Mitcha was neutered and is therefore also no longer part of our breeding program.
