Kurama - 9-tailed fox

Kurama was born in November 2014 from the love of a grey Norwegian Forest Cat and a red and white Maine Coon (Persian mix?) with two other siblings. This little guy was excellently raised by Uncle Nero. You can really feel his influence. Kurama was sold to us as a female and was formerly called Kushina. Although we originally wanted a male cat, the little mouse won us over. After Kushina developed cat flu after being with us for a few days, we went to the doctor. She then determined that our female cat, Kushina, was actually our dream male cat, Kurama.

Plüschi is a rascal. As a kitten, he climbed all over me like a scratching post so he wouldn't miss a thing. Even today, he always wants to be there for everyone. Chief Inspector Plüsch does his job excellently, without a doubt.

Sometimes you just have to look at him, and shortly after, he starts purring. Unfortunately, he didn't have an easy life. First, Yolina left us, and in October 2020, our dear Nero also left.

We strongly suspect that this has broken his heart somewhere. He's certainly picked up on a lot of things. He occasionally exhibits neurological problems. A few years ago, we diagnosed kidney problems (kidney stones) and neutered him because of a fat tail. We don't know the full cause and can only assume that he has mild seizures, which is why he sometimes slips his leg or stumbles, or can't make it to the toilet, and sometimes drools excessively.

Today, he prefers to go his own way. He accepts the company of other children, but only seeks closeness to us. He's learned to scurry under the covers from Kitaro and also enjoys playing with a hot water bottle. He can confidently accompany us outside, since, as a cat, he's responsive like Nero.

Far too quickly, the illness caught up with us and took Plüschi with him on February 6, 2023. We suspect he had a stroke or something similar. He deteriorated significantly over the weekend, but was always happy to see us. Unfortunately, he was so weak and worn out that he could barely walk, and then he fell asleep that night. We had been cuddling so nicely beforehand. He meowed at me and then purred as much as he could while crawling.

You have no idea how shocked we were and how much we miss you. The void you leave behind is so huge. We sincerely hope that Nero and Yolina accompanied you and that you enjoy their company. That's the only thing that cheers us up a little in this sad hour, since you left us far too soon. You fought and still lost... We hope it was a beautiful and, above all, pain-free time for you. You are so special and unique <3
