Kitaro - the man of joy and love

Kitaro was born on April 7, 2015, and is my first dog. Many people will certainly be wondering why I adopted a cream-colored Shiba inu (a color not permitted according to the breed standard), and without papers, to boot. Many people initially make this mistake: Why do I need papers?! So, I just followed my heart and gut. Today, I would certainly do a lot of things differently, but I still wouldn't want to miss any of my children.

This delicate white cuddly toy is the calmest and sweetest soul in the pack. He lives up to his name. As a puppy, Nuffellaus couldn't be excited about anything. Neither treats nor walks; everything was a little fight with this stubborn Shiba baby. Kitarohamster came to us at 8 weeks old. He was allowed to go anywhere and everywhere. He even went to university and listened to a lecture, which he slept through on my neighbor's desk.

The darling of the nation took every heart by storm, which gives him his freedom to act foolishly.

Bambinosa loves every minute outside these days and can spend hours reading the newspaper. He'll carry around leaves, twigs, or conkers, especially in the fall. A master of cunning, he likes to explore the area on his own and think, "Yeah, let's play catch."

But you can't be angry with him. He's just as adept at apologizing. Except for the summer days, he'll happily sleep under any blanket. He won't do anything he doesn't want to, but he understands everything perfectly – endlessly clever.

Our little buffalo was at the vet in early November 2024 because of a bump on his groin. He was only seen in the "male pose." Well, what are we trying to sugarcoat here? The sad truth is, he has cancer. The chest x-ray already showed numerous metastases in his lungs. He's now receiving medication, and we hope we can spend many more happy days together.
