Akashima's Kochi Ken Taro Aki No Ko

Shogun Taro is the second dog we imported from Canada from Katja and George Weber. Her breeding simply speaks volumes for itself.

Taro was born in mid-September 2020.

He is a great male who takes after his father. His litter consisted of 6 other siblings. Unfortunately, one brother and one sister didn't make it. It was a very big hit. His mother Nori is the daughter of Shinryu, the father of our A-litter. We were really looking forward to this great opportunity for our breeding.

Taro, a story we must rewrite. Thanks to the support and help of dear friends, we got Taro from Canada to Germany despite Corona.

We love him, he is indescribable, but as so often, fate played differently and rescheduled. Taro's open and charming character is indescribable. All hearts are at his feet. So also that of Elvira and Alexander. A connection that was probably stronger than ours was intended by fate.

At the beginning of 2021, Taro started changing teeth. At a usual training control, it caught my eye... It shouldn't look like that. Quickly took pictures and wrote to our dear emergency Nicky. Shortly thereafter, an appointment with Ms. Doc in Halle and under a light anesthetic the frightening realization - tooth defects. After consultation with my breed warden and the stud book office as well as many friendly breeders and specialist veterinarians, the diagnosis could not be shaken. The end result, breeding disqualification. Our dream is shattered. But what next?

Many thoughts went in circles and we took a step that we never wanted to take - that of giving away a child.

However, we were more forced to do this than we wanted, because rules are binding. Another call that would change the lives of many people.

After consultation with Katja and a phone call to Elvira, it was decided. TaroTaro moves to Bielefeld to his traveling parents.

In hindsight, I can only ever believe that it was meant to be and that it was meant to be. There are just too many "coincidences" when you look at everything again.

TaroTaro, we miss you very much and are still crying for you, our beaming gold bear. But with Elvira and Alex you have paradise on earth and great parents. This is how destinies are connected and legends are born...
